Album Preview 2: “Cherish the Tail that Chokes you” out 26.04.2026

Following our “This Odometer Syndrome” single released last January – which you can watch here – we are now pleased to share a 2nd song “Cherish the Tail that Chokes you” that will also feature on the upcoming comeback album by Sceptocrypt.

Cherish is hereby presented directly off one of our recent live shows, to share with you a taster of what latest members Mark (on drums) and Jacek (on samples) bring to the table.

Lyrically, this song deals with anxiety, hereby represented by the Norse myth snake Jormungandr as it goes round the world to eventually bite its own tail. The protagonist of this song’s lyrics could be anyone’s anxiety, not viewed for the insomnia and restlessness it brings, but more as a strong force of will to combat – and bite off – worse-rooted traumas. That is why we end the song with a line that goes ‘Let your fire be your light, never your destruction!’
